I’m glad you’re here! I specialize in treating individuals who are struggling with various forms of OCD, survivors of trauma, and those struggling with body image issues, self-esteem, life transitions, women’s issues, depression, and anxiety disorders.
I specialize in various forms of OCD, including checking and contamination OCD as well as pOCD, sexual orientation OCD, harm OCD, and other various presentations. I work with individuals through Exposure and Response Prevention as well as Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address the possible roots of obsessional thoughts, and reduce any distressing compulsions or behaviors to lead a more balanced life.
For survivors of trauma, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy to help them feel more in control of their narrative and feel empowered in their mind and body. I also utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as existential/humanistic approaches to help my clients become more in touch with their feelings and emotions to reduce self-criticism and anxious thought patterns.
My approach is to meet you with patience, understanding, and empathy as you share your vulnerable moments with me. I believe in practicing self-compassion during difficult periods of our lives, and work with my clients to improve their sense of self in the hopes of leading a life they love.
